  Physics Tip

Viscosity
The property of a liquid that makes it resist flow or any change in the arrangement of its molecules. The higher the viscosity, the "thicker" a liquid seems.

  Physics Quote

It is impossible to trap modern physics into predicting anything with perfect determinism because it deals with probabilities from the outset.
    Sir Arthur Eddington (1882 - 1944)

Forensic Science Degrees

Forensic science is a branch of science that helps in providing answers to questions the legal system seeks. Answers related to both civil and criminal proceedings are provided with forensic science. And it is possible to work as a forensic science expert only with a forensic science degree.

There are many forensic science schools, institutions and colleges that offer forensic science degrees. If you don’t have the time to attend regular college or school, you can always seek your forensic science degree from one of the many online educational institutions. This way, you can complete your online forensic science degree in the comfort of your house, according to your convenience.

With a forensic science degree, you can work as a laboratory analyst who analyzes evidence collected from the scene of crime to provide reports of findings. Forensic scientists are those who identify evidences found in a scene of crime and are those who are called to report evidence and findings in a court of law. With a forensic science degree, we find the forensic expert who is the person who can put together all the evidence found in crime scenes with the years of experience, knowledge and expertise behind him.

Sometimes, with a forensic science degree, it is better to do a course in forensic toxicology, engineering, entomology, psychology and accounting and criminalistics. All these courses provide the necessary knowledge and answers to solve complicated and unsolved cases related to the respective fields. Handwriting tests, machine wear and tear, behavioral analysis and DNA testing are subjects covered in these courses.

So basically, it is better to have a course that is related to forensic science and not only a forensic science degree so that you get a better understanding about the world of forensic science. However, as forensic science degrees bring work that helps the justice system, you cannot expect a job as a forensic scientist if you have a criminal record. Even drug users with a forensic science degree are not granted jobs in the field of forensic science.
