I am currently a High School Senior, hoping to attend the Massachusetts Institute of Technology next year. I am heavily interested in theoretical physics, especially String/M-Theory, and Quantum Mechanics. My future goals are to become a research/professor of physics, and have a golden lab named Archimedes. The words I live by: "Science is like sex: sometimes something useful comes out, but that is not the reason we are doing it" -- Richard Feynman :)

Born in a semi-redneck Idaho town, I was interested in the sciences at a young age, especially in outer space. What sparked the interest I don't know, but it has continued to present day. I love to create, and this lead me explore programming, the arts, and writing. I love to learn, and this drove me to read whatever I could. When I discovered modern physics for the first time, I couldn't go back. I've been stuck on it ever since. I hope to become either a writer and physicist. For now, though, I'm just a lowly Eastern Washington high school senior taking calculus.

Born in a nondescript village in China in 1986, the depressing state of the world has not yet quite filtered in to my youthful brain. After leaving aged 5, I now inhabit a non-determinate location within Britain, flitting from site to site with disturbing irregularity. Hobbies? Physics, Maths, Chemistry, Computers, Obscure Jokes, the Simpsons and WORLD DOMINATION.

Joe was born screaming, and didn't say another word for 4 years. When he finally started speaking, he mostly asked for books. Over the next 24 years, he read some 20,000 books, became a skilled amateur in a dozen trades including ballistics and metallurgy, spent four years as a Marine, and somehow ended up the green-haired leader of a punk-rock band. Currently, Joe is gearing up for hunting season, learning classical guitar, is the top poster at http://www.physicsforums.com, and is still reading about a book a day. Oh, and he's still screaming...
